Worm Grunting is a new London-based band who caught our attention earlier in the year with their debut single “Lost Whale”.
“Purple” is the follow-up single which sees the band change gears towards a very textural atmospheric electronic-flavored sound, with some Kid A era Radiohead spirit mixed with the more experimental tones of bands like Grizzly Bear and early Alt-J. It packs a wide array of emotions and influences into a sound that packs a severe emotional punch.
