Red Moon Rounder is a band based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado who released their album Ashes or Dust earlier this summer.
One of the highlights of the record is single “A Place Out There” a track that captures a chill desert-like vibe that blends folk rock with a more atmospheric psych blend, in the vein of Lord Huron. Moody but also slick in its sonic production and sneakily catchy.
Or as they put it:
This song was inspired by the Disney/Marvel series, Loki. There was a scene when a moon was crashing into a planet and all hope seemed lost. Although devastating, there was also hope in the scene. This channels the hopefulness and also chaos from that scene.
