Basavriuk is a band from San Juan, Puerto Rico who make the sort of dreamy music that you could have easily mistaken for coming out of England in the 90’s.
“Howl” is the title track of their 3-song EP, featuring some gorgeous guitar work and shimmering production, and melancholic vocals with reverb that sounds heavenly. A mix of Deerhunter, Slowdive, and Pixies. The song and the EP touch upon themes such as “self-doubt, insecurity, and the desire for personal growth. All of these topics are intertwined with a touch of magic.”
