Yndling is the dream pop project of Norwegian artist Silje Espevik who recently returned with their single “Make Me Want You”, a track that was recorded during the session for her debut album, expected for late 2023, but not making it into the final tracklist.

“Make Me Want You” revels in the best of 80s indie rock and dream pop, with a melancholic yet hopeful spirit and glow to it. Heavenly arrangements cozy up with a lush vocal performance that captures elements of bands like Beach House, Sterolab, and Melody’s Echo Chamber.

Speaking on the track, Yndling adds:

“The song is about the ambivalence of falling in love and losing control, so it’s kinda about downplaying feelings so it won’t hurt so much cause you know it won’t work/or just in case it won’t work”.
