Nisa has returned with her new single “Sea Glass”, released via Hit the North Records, which comes ahead of her upcoming show at Brooklyn venue Purgatory (get tickets here).

The track sees Nisa continue to take her sound to new sonic territories and heights, blending the soft-spoken yet quiet fury of her rock roots with vibrant and jittery electronic soundscapes – reminiscent of acts like Jockstrap and Braids. The end result is a sensory overload, in the best way imaginable.

About the song, Nisa shares:

“I wrote “Sea Glass” about the contradiction of holding cherished memories with a person against a fractured relationship with them. It’s about the distortion of a past moment that allows for a sense of comfort, above all.”
