Gold Gold is the indie rock outfit of Petter Winnberg (Amason), Lars Skoglund (drummer of Miike Snow, First Aid Kit etc) and Swedish pop star Markus Krunegård.
They have recently shared their debut self-titled album, one that is actually 11 years old. The recorded album never saw the light of day but the band has finally shared it with the world and we are glad they have done so.
You get tracks like single “Ghost” which sounds like Peter, Bjorn, and John combined with 90s Dinosaur Jr. Then there’s “You Are What I Hate” a more gritty garage rock blitz that has a dirty grimier rock sound that still has a charm completely of its own.
