Auroara Leigh is a singer-songwriter based out of Prince George, British Columbia who weaves her spiritual practices and teachings into her music for more healing both for her listeners and herself.
This includes her recently shared single “Emergence” a song about believing in yourself and ignoring the perception that outsiders may have. It blends folk-themed vocals and an artful challenging approach that also weaves in some electronic elements, along with some haunted fiddle performed by violinist Chloe Nakahara. It’s a delicate but moving piece of work that leaves a long-lasting impression.
Diving deeper into the track, Leigh adds:
“Emergence is about allowing yourself to be true to your own story of self, more than the projections from others about who you are. Emergence is about releasing the story of life or pain that someone else might have taught you or showed you in their behavior and not letting it impact how YOU choose to live.”
