English post-punk quartet Teleforme returned in May with their new EP, Empty Faces. Lead single and title track “Empty Faces” kicks off the EP, a song described as a “vigorous attack on the education system.”
The track taps into a raw and dark-leaning post-punk atmosphere that tackles a spirited anthemic rousing quality, full of sharp angular guitar work and an observant vocal performance that is full of angst and passion. Clocking in just shy of two minutes, “Empty Faces” makes the most of its brisk runtime.
