Sleepy Pearls is the duo of Violette Larsen and Brendan Michie – a project inspired by the “byegone era of coastal California doo-wop and Western folk of the Fifties and Sixties.”
They bring it to life handsomely on their single “Pardon Me”, a minimal folk tune that relies on sparse guitar work and a beautifully touching performance from Larsen that lays it all on the table in a natural and personal manner full of heart.
