Last month Queens-based shoegaze / indie rockers Pink Mexico released their fifth album Mirrorhead, their first release for Californian label Quiet Panic.

Highlights from the record include the very 90s grunge reminiscent “Junkie Smile” which captures the garage and shoegaze elements of bands like Hum and DIIV, with glorious dark riffs and a haunted atmosphere.

Then there is the rousing single “Shame”, featuring sharp soaring guitar riffs and a hypnotic lingering presence in the air with day-dream-esque vocals that simply soar with confidence and a wide-eyed cinematic quality.

You can stream both songs below and find the entire LP available to buy + stream at Bandcamp.
