Night Hymns is the Vancouver-based indie rock outfit led by singer-songwriter, Wei.
They captured something of a throwback charming indie rock/pop sound on their new single “Blue Bottle,” which captures the power pop essence of the 90s, as well as elements of Brit rock titans, and even the sweet sentimentality of The Smiths.
It’s a song inspired by a trip to San Francisco and a visit to Blue Bottle and inspired the song that feels equal parts jubilant and melancholic. In other words, a total earworm that will make you feel all of the feels.
