MEG are a Brooklyn-based band who have been a band for about seven years but have only just released their self-titled debut EP.
It features tracks like the 90s-esque garage rock roller “KB2” that channels some of the greats of the genre, such as Dinosaur Jr, Built To Spill, and Superchunk. Or the more moody and passionate approach on “Kevin Buried” which closes out the EP with elements of a lush dreamy quality, reminding of elements of Alex G and DIIV.
It took seven years for the release but it was very much worth the wait.
