DD Island, the project of East Coast-based musician Brandon Rhodes, has recently returned with his brand new EP, Hungry, a collection of songs about “love, trauma, escapism, hope, hopelessness…a reflection of the human condition.”

One of these songs is the title track and EP closer “Hungry”, a psych-infused dreamy indie folk offering that blends elements and traces of acts like Deerhunter and Animal Collective. Lush and full of life, like a far-away day dreamy that seems so close to home yet somehow unattainable.

Enjoy a listen to “Hungry” below and find the EP available to stream and buy at Bandcamp.
