The Bobo is an Oxford-based electronic project whose goal is to experiment with the genre. They do just that on their lovely single “Wish I Knew”, which comes ahead of the release of their upcoming EP, For Me, the Sun.
Channeling elements of UK-based producers like Burial, with a hypnotic and ethereal presence and a stunning lead vocal that navigates you across its foggy cold terrain with a stunning atmospheric presence. While it has trademarks of electronic music, its foray and journey is one that leaves a refreshing signature stamp – reminiscent of contemporaries such as Kelly Lee Owens and Daughter.
