Scandinavian singer/songwriter Freyr has recently returned with his new single “Wilderness”, which is a duet with fellow folk singer-songwriter Austin Basham. The single is about “realizing you have found the one, and all the emotions that come with that.”
Delicately performed with an emotive tender warmth and a lovely set of vocals that pair together providing a hopeful and sunny spirit with a positive message.
Speaking the track, Freyr adds:
“’Wilderness’ is a song about how everything changes when people become partnered. The things that were important in the past fades and a shift of priorities occurs. Writing the song, I felt it had strong folk roots and that it would sound even better with a well-versed folk singer like Austin Basham. The result turned out perfect!”
