Lazyacres is the solo project of Josh Owens who returned with his new EP, Rookie, on March 31st. We previously shared lead single “Aloe” and with its release have since been charmed with another standout in “Clay.”
The track has an upbeat and youthful swagger with some surfy qualities and a charming sun-soaked quality that reminds of some of the early work of artists like Real Estate and even Mac DeMarco. It’s a song that we will have spinning on our summer playlists as the ultimate mood-setter.
