Low Praise is an Oakland-based post-punk trio who took up influence from classics of the genre such as The Fall and Wire.

Take their recently released single “Forget That It’s Summer”, a song that was the first they wrote during the depths of Covid, during their “hared peak fear, anxiety and loneliness.”

The track channels a bit of some of the new titans of the genre, such as Parquet Courts, with a lively raw biting blend of garage rock and punk with plenty of artful moments of their own to separate them onto a path very much of their own.
