Postcards From Mars is Dutch singer-songwriter Bart van Dalen, who won our hearts over with their warm and inviting single “In Every Direction”, a song about “being stuck in a rut and the challenge to move forward again,” which will appear on their upcoming album, ego death.
The fragile and sparse sound channels some classic folk songwriting, with flourishes that give you the sense you’re almost listening to the track while taking in the sights of gorgeous European landscape onboard a bustling moving train. In other words, it’s gorgeous.
