Yasmin de Laine is an artist from Melbourne, Australia who taps into something of a rather classic folk / bluegrass sound on her recently shard single ‘Laura Elsa,” the first single from her debut EP.

The track draws on the tradition of old-school murder ballads, as well as exploring themes of “female rage and retribution.” A hearty and gritty soulful blend of folk storytelling that captures a rather enchanting and persuasive tone and mood.
