Kicking is an indie rock band from Jackson, Mississippi, who recently returned with their new single “Cheeks.”
The track dives deep into a sonic world of fuzzy guitars with a heavy 90s presence, that is balanced well by some powerhouse vocals that carry significant emotional weight – and are undeniably catchy as well. It reminds us of a lot of the grunge adjacent rock that we grew up on as teenagers.
