Norway indie folk outfit Benedikt will return with their new album, Why Are You Dreaming?, on April 28th via Koke Plate. It features the previously shared 2017, as well as, “How Did I Wind Up Here”, the fourth single shared from the album.
The track, described as feeling “trapped in a ghost life,” carries a pretty yet devastating emotionally poignant atmosphere and tone that captures the warmth and power of artists such as Elliot Smith. There is a natural grace and beauty to the song that feels cinematic and otherworldly.

You want to leave but you have no direction or desire. So you stay put. The inverted, sonic landscape is the sound of feeling uneasy and fragile in the morning.
