Connie Cunningham and the Creeps is the project of Nick Kinsey, A New York-based musician who has toured with the likes of Kevin Morby, AC Newman, Cold War Kids, and Hand Habits. The group features Kinsey, along with Cassandra Jenkins and Josh Kaufman.
After he moved to upstate New York, he began work on this new project, creating a fictional character in order to find the headspace neccesary to finish the group of songs.
This includes his debut single, “Going, Going, Going, Gone,” which channels 50s and 60s pop, the sort of song that sounds like one your parents used to play when you were a kid. Just with the polish and shine of music blog era contemporaries such as Cults and Magic Kids.
