New York indie rockers Pink Mexico tap into a classic shoegaze inspired sound on their single “Dungeonhead.” The single comes ahead of the release of their upcoming new album Mirrorhead, due out on May 19th via Quiet Panic Records.
“Dungeonhead” captures a distinctive hum like sound that has a brooding 90s grunge and shoegaze atmosphere, splitting the difference between contemporaries such as DIIV and Goon. A mix of fuzzy guitar works and hypnotic vocals that combine into something meditative and soaring.
