NYC-via-Philly group Strange Ranger has returned with their new single “Rain So Hard,” via Fire Talk. A song that was written while bandmembers Isaac Eiger and Fiona Woodman were in the process of breaking up.

The song “captures the romantic loneliness of a late subway ride home” and this feeling of loss and melancholy is perfectly felt throughout. A blend of dreamy indie rock with a more experimental blend of pop and bedroom pop with an experimental edge. With all that said, it’s a track that captures that feeling of a comedown from a night, along with a relationship.
