Singer-songwriter Reed Gaines has returned with “All That They told You” a single from his upcoming EP. It’s a song that Gaines set out to represent the goal he envisioned in his head “a dark, folk-tinged indie offering with meditative lyrics and an alluring atmosphere.”
Well he does so with great success, as the single captures a hushed and melancholic dark sensibility that casts a haunted spell. The folk nature has a stunning enchanting atmosphere and feeling in the air, with a rather catchy vocal delivery and chorus that is smartly done in a raw and honest way.
