Swiss singer-songwriter Mary Middlefield released her debut album Thank You Alexander, on March 3rd. The album features the previously shared singles “This One’s for You” and “Band Aid” and today we turn our focus to the album’s closet moment, “Case Closed.”
It’s a reflective look at the end of a relationship, welcoming the pain and emotion as much as the ability to use that to eventually turn the page and move on. It’s produced in stunning fashion, casting a haunted atmospheric spell that elevates what could have been just another devestating folk effort, into something much grander.
