The Guns of Ataraxia are band from Norway that are confidently described as “True Norwegian Synth Pop.” After listening to their recently shared single “Rooms,” it’s hard to argue with that notion.
It grabs you with a wash of glowing 80s synths that have a cool icy temperature, led perfectly by a strong willed vocal performance that reels you in with a synth pop sound that glistens with some sweet, sweet, pop hooks.
Yeah, they weren’t kidding. This is true synth pop in its finest form.
