Howdy, Cherry is the project of Brooklyn’s Caroline Lazar, whose solo work we had previously shared. She has recently returned with “Cool” the third single from her upcoming debut album.
“Cool” sees Lazar’s songwriting and sound take a considerable leap, while the foundation that captivated us with her previous project is very much in its DNA, there is undeniable growth here. A blend of country-themed folk and pop that ends up delivering a sound that is addictive and memorable, with plenty of substance underneath it all.
