DD Island, the project of East Coast-based musician Brandon Rhodes, has recently returned with his psyh-infused rocker “Flowers”.
It’s a sun-soaked rocker that is impossible not to groove out to, capturing a frantic punky and garage rock energy, with a bit of a lo-fi charm that reminds us of the early 2010 indie blog scene reminiscent of Smtih Westerns, Thee Oh Sees, and Wavves.
