Cut The Kids In Half is the duo of Rahway, New Jersey-based teenage brothers Jack and Charlie Silver (ages 17 & 16). They have recently released their debut single “The Quiet Life of August”, a track that is written from the “perspective of an aging parent reflecting on their life and the lives of their children.
It carries a 90s-esque aesthetic and passion that gives off a bit of an early Car Seat Headrest feel. There is a natural songwriting talent on display here that has us interested to see what the future has in store for these talented young songwriters.
