Provo, Utah-based harpist, singer, and producer Goldmyth has returned with her latest single “Video”, which “Triptych”, which she released over the summer.

The track embodies the essence of so many great 80s synth-driven pop songs, with a cinematic flare and emotional undercurrent that runs through it. There are also plenty of modern flourishes to allow it to shine in a path of its own.

Speaking on the track, she adds:

I wrote this song while I watched my old home movies from a family vacation to Jackson Hole. I returned years later with a long lost love, only to find that we had to part ways forever. I co-produced it with Stuart Maxfield who plays with Neon Trees and writes with IDK How but They Found Me, and we worked to further the Goldmyth world of expansive mystery and warm nostalgia. I creative directed and edited the video along the same lines, sourcing TV’s and strangers’ home movies in my hometown, planning and making the whole video in a whirlwind of 2 days. When all the dust settled, we had a late 80’s tinged modern opus to childhood, lost love, and never looking back.
