Swedish musician Tobias Arbo released his debut single “Saudade” in November via CRC Records.
The song features a homeward-bound tender nature that feels like a lovely fall night spent with a loved one. With the warmth of Jens Lekman and the sparse folk navigation of The Tallest Man On Earth and early Bon Iver, “Saudade” finds a way to tap into something genuine and human – and to sound magnificent while doing it.

Speaking on the lyrical inspiration behind his debut single, Tobias said:
“Saudade is a Portuguese word that can be translated into ‘the melancholy of missing something you never had’, which in itself is a paradox. To me, this song is about that feeling. When the possibility of something coming true that you long for is slipping away. And before you even had it, you start to feel like you’ve lost that something irrevocably.”
