Newquay and Bristol-based four-piece Lyra’s Orchid caught our attention with a handful of great singles last year and have kicked off 2023 with the release of their debut EP All The Songs We Know.
“While We Wait” is the EP’s closing moment, a hypnotic and meditative slow-burn indie rock anthem with a sonic template that feels perfectly suited for these cold winter months. There is a soothing and charming nature to it all that taps into a really emotive state of being that is sent home with a lush outro, giving some heavy Beach House vibes.
