Last year saw Australian singer-songwriter Bill Callaway release his new EP The Garden. It’s full of 90s esque indie folk anthems such as the delicate single and title track, “The Garden.”

There is a sincere and raw wistful nature that captures a vulnerable state of mind so often found in 90s songwriting. Elements of alt-country and emo collide to form a track with emotive lyrics and a charm about it that just feels oh so right. And with a run-time shy of two-minutes, it’s a song that doesn’t wear out its welcome.

Enjoy a listen to “The Garden” below and find the entire EP available to stream + purchase at Bandcamp.
