Sara Devoe is an emerging artist from Albany, New York who is currently a senior at SUNY Geneseo. But a path in music will clearly follow based on her lovely single “Bella” a song released this fall that will appear on her upcoming debut EP, Allegro!.
“Bella” is a song about “how hard it is to watch friends you grew up with grow and struggle” and is best described as a wistful slice of dream pop with a late-night spirit and glow to it that carries the weight of emotion and feelings of melancholy. There is an 80s spirit to it, and some elements of bedroom pop that give it a feel of acts like Men I Trust and TOPS.
