Michigan indie rockers Shady Groves recently released their cover of Sugar Ray’s “Someday”, which is included in their Dreamboat B-Sides collection which came out on New Year’ Eve via Underflow Records.
The cover, which was approved by Sugar Ray’s Mark McGrath, gives the song a totally new reimagining that feels melancholic and spiritual. It has the original DNA but gives it a totally new sonic dimension, as good covers should.
