Hayes Noble is a Northwest Illinois-based musician who may be only a teenager but based on his thrilling single “Forget It”, he’s an artist well beyond his years. It’s the first single released ahead of his debut album, Head Cleaner, which will be released on February 17.

The track is a no-nonsense old-school garage rock and punk rocker that feels like it was taken from the 90s. Bands like Hüsker Dü, The Replacements, Dinosaur Jr. all feel like influences, with some more modern acts such as Jay Reatard, Cloud Nothings, Ty Segall, and Japandroids. No-nonsense guitar work, pummeling drums, and vocals all add up to thrash head-bobbing goodness.
