Hank Midnight is the project of French songwriter, recording artist, and producer Hank Mittnacht. Last fall he released his album Memory Box, and today we are here to share one of its standout offerings, “Hot Lies.”
A sparse but affecting slice of folk rock, it touches the soul with a thoughtful and intimate delivery that feels personal, sincere, and romantic. There are welcome flourishes that adorn it in ways different from typical folk rock and allow it to spread its wings in singular ways.
