Secret Mezzanine are a Indiana-based band that is self-described “rowdy boys playing music that feels good.”
Based on their effortlessly endearing and charming single “Backseat”, they have certainly lived up to that promise and then some. It has a really youthful swagger to it with some slick guitar work, a glam sort of vibe that feels like a mix of Strokes-esque moments (especially the chorus), and a bit of Twin Peaks.
