Count Shaw is a solo artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Birmingham who won us over earlier in the year with his single “It Only Comes Out At Noon.”
The track is a twist of the “Lady Midday/ Noonday Witch myth”, a song about “not behaving, not conforming.”
He delivers its method with some sharp post-punk elements and guitar work, with a slacker vibe and vocal delivery and production that suites its energy perfectly. Think of a mix of Shame and Wavves with a bit of a new age flavor and mix to it.
