Shrimp Eyes are a British band that caught our ears early in the year with their lovely single “Fits and Starts.”
It’s a lush and shimmering smart slice of indie rock that cools down your soul with some polished vocals and lovely guitar work that takes us back to the early 2000s indie blog rock days, reminding us of bands like Snowden and Say Hi.
Or as they put it:
The song captures the frustration of getting bogged down by the mundane aspects of life and navigating the struggle to be creative, when you don’t have the time, or the resources taken for granted by others.
