Charleston-based 4-piece indie rock band Easy Honey delighted us earlier this year with their charming single, “Spells.”
The single sounds like an encapsulation of a great year spent with dear friends, a timeless sense of nostalgia and melancholy, rolled into a giant warm sonic embrace. Very reminiscent of bands like Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin or Pinegrove.
Or as they describe it:
“Spells” transports listeners to: driving to class with your older brother in his beater of a car; the first time you smoked pot; the “good ole days.”
