Royal Blush is a dream-pop outfit from New Jersey that last won our hearts with their single “Roll The Dice.”
The band recently returned with “Witness” a song that once again finds the band reveling in the 90s-esque blissful shoegaze and dream pop that features a passionate chorus and some reverb-heavy guitar work that blends harmoniously with its hooky vocals. Like a blend of DIIV, Wolf Alice and Lush.
Or as the band put it:
“Witness” is a demand for accountability. A voice enraged and pushed to the point where blood is on the tongue. In the studio we asked ourselves, ‘what would happen if you turned the amp up as loud as it could go? Crack the snare as hard as you could.’ This is our response. We reject the silence. Even when the bass leaves your chest, we’re still screaming “CAN I GET A WITNESS”
