South London-based band Slaney Bay was formed by childhood friends who formed during the lockdown in 2020, bringing their talents together to craft “intricately fuse soft, introspective lyrics with soaring, ear-worm guitar riffs.”

This is seen on their enthusiastic single “I Could Love You Better”, which is taken from their debut EP, A Life Worth Living, which will be released next weekend.

The song carries itself with a youthful vigor that combines elements of dreamy indie rock and smart pop hooks, reminding us a bit of the early work of Wolf Alice.
