New York City-based bedroom pop duo Bubble Tea and Cigarettes have recently returned with their new album There’s Nothing But Pleasure via Elefant Records, which is described as “a narcotic journey to the deepest part of our feelings.”

Take the single and very dark yet dreamy single “He Asked Me to Quit Smoking”, a song that reminded them of some of the “saddest moments of Dusty Springfield.” It’s a track that works its way deep into your headspace, providing a haunted yet cinematic vision that feels like it’s tapping into your saddest memory in order to help provide some healing.

You can find the lovely track available to listen to below and the whole album is available to stream/buy from Bandcamp.
