Fortune Teller is a Charlotte area band, who we recently discovered via their single “Please Be Cool”, taken from their 2019 self-titled album.
The song, is from a member’s perspective of “this guy who would always hit on my wife in front of me.” It cheekily captures that slick and cool indie rock sound out of the mid-2010s with a playful tone but a sharp old-school rock swagger to it that adds up to something fun but also strangely hypnotic.
