Nashville dream pop indie outfit Palm Ghosts have won us over heartedly with their latest single “Cross Your Heart”, a track shared from their upcoming new album Post Preservation, out on October 28th.
The song builds up in a gradual fashion with a bit of a melancholic 80s sound blended with a haunted guitar line that feels very Dan Boeckner/Wolf Parade. The rest of the track carries itself with the nature and atmosphere of 80’s new wave giants, while wearing its heart on its sleeve and delivering a powerhouse punch that feels vivid, sincere, and, well, human.
