Davey Harris, drummer of Buffalo-based indie rockers The Tins, made his solo debut earlier this year with his debut single “Self-Saboteur.”
Harris has since returned with the vibrant and jubilant new single “HONEY”, which is indeed a tribute to bees. While the track ushers in a smooth as hell pop feel and chorus, the song also carries itself with some 70’s glam and psych rock elements that come through with a colorful hue about it.
Speaking on the track he says,
“The track could be seen as a ballad from the perspective of a queen bee, wondering where to spread her rich reserves of honey, or as a lament from a flower, trying to summon missing pollinators from a silent sky.” As for that Papania frequency, studies have shown that listening to the earth’s frequency can be mentally and physically healing, which is, “some sacred bee-ometry.”
