Brooklyn indie art punk rockers Pamphlets have been a rock solid source of new tunes for a while now, and they keep the trend going strong on their recently shared single “Parties.”

Channeling titans of the 80s scene such as New Order, Gang Of Four, and shades of more modern acts like Protomartyr and OMNI, the track harnesses a raw jangly punk sound with flashes of a vibrant dance element under the surface that ruminates in the gut as you reach for the dancefloor.

Or as the band put it:

Parties is a song of self reflection, wondering if the decisions one has made were the right choices. Starting from a simple bassline, the song grew to become Pamphlets’ most melodic and grounded track off the upcoming EP. This is the fifth single from the band’s EP, coming 10/7.
