Newquay and Bristol-based four-piece Lyra’s Orchid have only released two songs to date (“Tides” & “See You There”) and have charmed us yet again with “Time.”

The track has a real warm and timeless quality to it, a laid-back free-flowing form that sounds both retro and modern to some lo-fi indie mainstays in the early 2000s. The production suits their simple but insanely effective style here, one that feels like anthemic dream pop but also a bit of a slacker anthem – in the best way possible.
